1. I can’t login to the Web App, what do I do?
Try to login with your email address and password that you used to register. If it doesn’t work, contact our support team via the Live Chat located at the Help Desk in the Web App. We will email you a new password. Once you are logged in you can go to “My Profile” then “Password” to create your own password.
2. Where can I consult the program agenda?

a. Click on Agenda either in the menu bar or the Dashboard of the Web App.

3. Do I need Zoom?

We are not using Zoom for this Symposium. The Videos will play in your browser and we recommed using Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

4. How do I access a live session?

On the Dashboard click on “En direct / Live Session”. You will then land on the page that will broadcast the entire program.

5. How do I ask a question to a speaker?
The box where you can type your question is located above the broadcasting box / window. It is clearly labeled: Click here to submit a question.
6. Can I chat with other participants during a session?

There is a speech bubble in the top right-hand corner of the broadcasting window which you will see once you click on the “En direct / Live Session” icon on the dashboard of the Web App. You can also send a message to an attendee. See question 17 for details.

7. How does the Chat at the Help Desk work?

a. When one of our staff is online, you will be able to simply start chatting with the person online and ask your question. Our staff will be online on May 29 from 7am until 5pm.

b. When our staff is not online, you will see a form (name, email and message) to submit your question. We will get back to you as soon as possible by email.

8. Do I need to check-in in order to claim CME credits?
No, you do not need to check-in separately in the Web App. We will automatically keep track of your attendance, as you need to be logged in the Web App to attend any virtual session. You still need to count the hours you attended live in order to put these hours on your certificate of participation / CME certificate.
9. Is this Symposium accredited?

Yes, all information is available in the Accreditation section which you can access by clicking on the Accreditation button on the Dashboard.

10. How do I get a certificate of participation?

You will be able to download your Certificate of Attendance after you submit your speaker evaluations as well as the global evaluation form. Simply go to your Web App Dashboard and you will see a message that brings you to the certificate. You'll be able to download the certificate to your computer. The program content counts for 7.25 hours of learning.

11. How do I complete the speaker evaluations?
During breaks and at the end of the day you should evaluate the presenter of each session you attended. You can access the Evaluation via your Dashboard or the menu bar of the Web App. Click on “Evaluation for Presenters” to find the sessions you wish to evaluate and reply to all questions.
12. When and how do I complete the Global Evaluation Form?
At the end of the day, please go back to Evaluation and this time click on “Global Evaluation”. Please do NOT complete this evaluation before the end of the Symposium. You can complete the form until June 1. Once you complete the global evaluation form you will be able to download your certificate from your Dashboard.
13. How do I message another attendee (outside of the Live Stream)?

Go to Participants on your Dashboard and search for the name of the person you would like to contact. Then click on the “Details” button next to their name. If the person agreed to be contacted by other participants, you will see a button “Contact by Email”. When you click on this button you will be able to draft a message with subject line and send it to the person. You will not see the person’s email address but the message will be sent to their email as well as to their inbox in the Web App.

14. Where can I update my privacy setting?
On your Dashboard click on “My Profile” then go to “Privacy” and you will be able to choose if you appear in the delegate list and if other attendees or sponsors can message you.
15. Where can I update the information that’s displayed in my profile in the attendee list?
On your Dashboard click on “My Profile” then go to “Profile” to update your affiliation and biography. Under “Social Accounts” you can also add your social media profiles.
16. Can I take notes in the Web App?
Once you are on the “Live Stream” page, you will see a note field right below the broadcasting window. You can write notes in the text box. Don’t forget to save your notes. On your Dashboard, you can go to “My Notes”. Here you will see all your notes and you can email them to yourself. Simply click on “Send notes to my email”.
17. Who do I contact if I have any questions that are not answered in this FAQ?
Please go to the Help Desk and chat with our support team. If nobody is online at the moment you try to reach us, please send a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that it will be hard to reach us by telephone during the Symposium, therefore please address all your questions to the Help Desk in the Web App.
18. Can I watch recordings of the presentation?
Yes, the recordings of all presentations will remain available in the Web App for 6 months. Make sure you are logged in, then go to the session you would like to see. Once you click on the session title you will see the recording of that session. You only need to click on the play button.
19. Can I claim credits for presentations I watched offline, after the Symposium?
PHYSICIANS: You can only claim MOC Category 1 credits for sessions you attended LIVE. If you view the recorded sessions later, for information on how this activity fits in the Royal College Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program, please visit the Royal College’s website (royalcollege.ca/moc).
